Our lab uses geomorphology, spectroscopy in the field and the laboratory to understand the geological evolution of terrestrial planets. Our experiments simulate Venus and Mars conditions to understand surface processes and examine how these processes are detected with remote sensing data. This work helps inform the interpretation of planetary data in hand and develop priorities and measurements for future missions.
